Lawyer and Master in Family Law with more than 20 years of experience in the practice of the profession. Expert in Family Law, Childhood, Adolescence, Violence against Women, people with disabilities, older adults, Human Rights, Alternative Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Access to Public Information. Founding partner of LAW FIRM ZALDAÑA MARTINEZ VARGAS.
Her career in the family area began in 2000 as a Judicial Collaborator of the Family Courts of San Salvador. Subsequently, she has strengthened her career in the area of Womens Rights as Legal Advisor to the Deputy for Women and the Family of the Attorney General Office for the Defense of Human Rights; She was also one of the pioneers in the branch of Access to Public Information, being the first Public Information Officer of the Human Rights Ombudsman.
From 2019 to date, she has dedicated herself as an independent consultant in the area of the Rights of Women, Children, Adolescents, Older Adults, People with Disabilities and Indigenous Peoples in which she has prepared various reports for THE ORGANIZATION OF NATIONS UNIDAS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY AND THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN (ONUMUJERES), UNITED STATES AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (USAID), DUTCH COOPERATION IN EL SALVADOR, SPANISH COOPERATION IN EL SALVADOR and for the Salvadoran Institute of Agrarian Transformation (ISTA); as well as is dedicated to the free exercise of the profession focusing on the practice of Family Law, Children Law, Adolescence, Domestic Violence, Violence against Women and as Executor of Seizures for different private institutions such as Grupo Q, SA de CV , Banco Cuscatlán, Banco Integral and Caja de Crédito de Soyapango.
